El porqué de los perdidos
The Why of the Lost is the new play Akira Yoshida is currently working on, as part of the Government of Navarre's DNA 2024-2025 program.
Synopsis: “A lost and aimless character wanders with few memories of his past. Without a clear purpose, he comes across a light in the middle of nowhere, searching for answers to an existence that seems to have lost all meaning. In this desolate and seemingly simple place, surreal events begin to occur. The space itself, as if it had a life and a will of its own, transforms and plays with him, enveloping the character in traps and deceptions, as if he were part of a chess game. However, the character doesn't realize that, deep down, the true struggle is against himself.”
Together To Get There
"An encounter between two, an embrace, the sensation of the other, a communication without words, the perception of time immersed in a world created between two. A mutual support. A time that expands and stops as if it will never end."
A duo created by dancers and choreographers Akira Yoshida and Lali Ayguadé.

Gizaki is a duo born from the collaboration between Lali Ayguadé and Akira Yoshida. Its origins coincided with the quarantine caused by COVID-19, finding in this free time a good excuse to explore and create something new.
In that sense, Gizaki is a work heavily influenced by that context, in which the performers explore how human beings can go through difficulties through their imagination. We see the experience of two people living in a small room, where things can happen that are not what they seem.
Gizaki was nominated for Best Medium Format Work at the Critics' Awards and won the award for Best Dancer of Catalonia for Lali Ayguadé at the Butaca Awards.
Gizaki has toured Spain, Germany, Korea, and Panama.
Based on this work, the short film titled Gizaki was also created, with the help and support of BigStory Productions, the Mercat de les Flors, and directed by Edu Pérez.
